I think Bennett is just what the Rams need at 6'5" there shouldn't be any reason why Bulger can't hit the end zone with this guy. Plus he's another receiver with a great attitude and work ethic, should fit in nicely with Holt and Bruce. And he should flourish with Bulger's accuracy!

It's funny because I read that Tennesee was one of teams in addition to the Lions and the Vikings that Kevin Curtis was looking to go to. It would be a totally fair trade, because they're both very capable receivers. Curtis is clearly the faster guy and I shudder to think of him building a rapport with Vince Young, but the Rams already have strong receivers in Bruce and Holt, and Bennett really does give them something different that they don't already have. Instead of always getting "small and fast" on the team, Linehan seems to be opening up to more diversity in size. I don't have a problem with that at all, especially in the receivers corps, where guys like Proehl and Cam Cleeland have proven the Rams can get good production out of guys not considered speedsters.

I agree we've been missing size and power on the receiving side of the ball for a while now, and that's not to take anything from our awesome duo of Holt and Bruce. But Bennett will be able to take some of the pressure off of them as well which will keep our dynamic duo healthy and fresh as well.
